6 MONTH MANUFACTURER'S WARRANTY
Mongrel Boots are designed and made in Australia with the help of modern technologies to ensure the highest levels of safety, quality and comfort. Representing authentic Australian boots that have been Aussie Born & Bred for over 90 years.
Our 6 Months manufacturer’s warranty guarantees that your boots are made for the toughest of jobs, protecting you from any manufacturing and/or material faults. The 6 month manufacturer’s warranty is valid for 6-months from the date of purchase.
This warranty will be void if in the opinion the Victor Footwear Pty Ltd the footwear has been subject to excessive wear and tear or misused. This includes, without limitation, cuts, burns, exposure to chemicals, lime or excessive water or force if the product is not designed or suitable for that purpose. The product may be considered not suitable for purpose, and the warranty may not apply, where the product was not fitted correctly.
If you are eligible to make a warranty claim, please return the boots to the place of purchase (at your own cost) with proof of purchase. The boots will then be returned to Victor Footwear Pty Ltd for inspection by an authorised employee. Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and for compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
Care for your boot, handy information:
- Please make sure your boots are fitted to your feet properly.
- Ensure that you choose the right boot for your line of work.
- Storage: Please note when PU is stored in warm, climatic conditions, deterioration through moisture (hydrolysis) can occur. If your footwear is needing to be stored for an extended period, it should be kept in an air-conditioned location. If you do not follow these precautions, your footwear could deteriorate a lot faster.
- Dry your wet Mongrels at room temperature for longevity. Never force dry them close to a fire or other heat source.
- For suede & nubuck leather, it is recommended to use a protector to repel water and oil.
